Basic carrier liability is limited, typically $20 per kg. We strongly recommend comprehensive cargo insurance, which we can arrange. It usually costs 0.3–1% of the cargo value and covers loss, damage and theft.

Cargo must be packed to withstand handling and air pressure changes. Use sturdy boxes, palletise where possible and cushion properly. Fragile items need "Fragile" labels, and every package needs clear shipping labels with handling instructions.

Yes, with restrictions. Lithium batteries must comply with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations; batteries installed in equipment are easier to ship than standalone ones. We handle the documentation and labelling, so just tell us at booking.

Prohibited items include explosives, flammable liquids and gases, toxic substances and certain chemicals. Restricted items such as lithium batteries, dry ice and magnetised materials need special documentation. We'll help you check whether your cargo is acceptable.

Air freight typically costs 5–10 times more than sea freight, but delivers in days instead of weeks. For urgent, high-value or low-volume shipments the speed often justifies the cost, and we can help you weigh it up.

A commercial invoice, packing list, Air Waybill (AWB), certificate of origin where applicable, and any product-specific certificates (FDA, FCC and so on). Dangerous goods also need a Shipper's Declaration. We guide you through all of it.

Yes. You get the Air Waybill number to track online, plus proactive notifications at key milestones: departure, arrival, customs clearance and delivery.

Airport-to-airport covers only the flight between origin and destination airports; you arrange pickup and delivery. Door-to-door is the complete service: pickup in Europe, air transport, customs clearance and final delivery to your US location. Most customers choose door-to-door.

Inspect the shipment on delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt. File a claim within 14 days with photos and documentation. If you have cargo insurance, we'll help with the claim; without it, carrier liability is limited.
